Job summary

Tradewind Flight Services in Natick, MA, seeks a full-time Administrative Clerk / MHE Operator to support the U.S. Army Logistics Readiness Center Natick.

You will handle administrative tasks and operate Material Handling Equipment in a government installation environment. The ideal candidate is dependable with strong organizational skills, experience with MHE such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and the ability to obtain base access credentials and necessary clearances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an administrative, logistics, or warehouse environment.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as forklifts and pallet jacks; current MHE operator certification required up to 26K cubic capacity.
• GCSS-A experience equivalent to WG-07 rank/grade.
• Military/DoD experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling, workload assignments, and daily activities of administrative and warehouse staff to meet mission requirements.
• Perform clerical functions including document preparation, correspondence management, filing, records maintenance, and data entry in government systems.
• Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including forklifts and pallet jacks in accordance with safety standards.
• Coordinate receiving, inspection, storage, and distribution of supplies and materials for unit operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and logs; prepare and submit required reports.
• Ensure safety compliance and conduct required safety briefings and training.
• Interface with government customers, military personnel, and base operations staff professionally.
• Report issues to the Program Manager promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
