Volt in Memphis, TN is seeking a Logistics Admin for a full-time, contract role. The position focuses on maintaining sales orders, updating progress as engineering changes occur, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure timely shipments and accurate invoicing.

The ideal candidate will manage backlogs, generate and maintain spreadsheets, and provide clear, timely communication to requestors. A GED or HS diploma is required, with 1+ year of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Monitors daily backlogs of orders and deliveries and handles non-standard orders.
• Creates and maintains spreadsheets and documents in Word/Excel.
• Provides accurate, timely order status updates via email, database tools or verbally.
• High School diploma or GED required; further training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reschedule sales orders and ensure shipments are processed when materials are available.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Reps globally to ensure order accuracy and remove delivery or invoicing blocks.
• Adapt to changing priorities, multi-task, and prioritize duties accordingly.

This is a full time, contract opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sales orders to ensure they are updated as engineering changes are implemented.
• Attend meetings as a representative of the team to exchange information with other departments.
• Provide accurate, timely, and up-to-date order status to requestors via email, database tools, verbally, or other methods.
• Report proactive order status in times of heavy backlog or longer than expected lead times.
• Processes Internal orders, No Charge orders, and other non-standard orders and ensures timely shipment and reporting.
• Ensure sales orders are rescheduled and shipments are processed as material becomes available.
• Work with Customer Service Reps globally to ensure order accuracy, and timely removal of delivery blocks preventing shipment or billing blocks preventing invoicing.
• Adapt to changing priorities, multi-task, and prioritize work to successfully accomplish job duties.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Monitors daily backlogs of orders/deliveries shipping processing non-standard orders.
• Experience creating and maintaining spreadsheets/documents in Microsoft Word/Excel.
• Provide accurate, timely, and up-to-date order status to requestors via email, database tools, verbally, or other methods.
• High School diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED) required. Some level of further education/formal training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience in similar role
• Experience creating and maintaining spreadsheets/documents in Microsoft Word/Excel.

Pay Range

$20.00 - $21.81 per hour.*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
