Job summary

Palmer Logistics, now part of H. Essers, seeks an Account Specialist to be the primary customer interface, ensuring orders meet requirements and collaborating with warehouse operations.

The role requires at least 2 years in logistics customer service, strong Microsoft Office skills, and experience with Warehouse Management Systems. The position is hourly with a pay rate of $18.00–$19.00, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in logistics/3PL.
• Flexibility to work early shifts, late shifts, and weekends as needed.
• Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Processing customer orders in accordance with company and customer requirements ensuring accuracy.
• Invoicing and verifying rates per contractual warehouse agreement.
• Address customer complaints in a timely manner and escalate to management as needed.
• Research discrepancies in inventory as needed.
• Maintain a good relationship with customers via email and/or phone in a courteous, efficient manner.
• Follow established company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with office and warehouse personnel to meet productivity goals.
• Perform any additional functions as assigned by management.
