Job summary

Vista Trans Logistics, Charleston, SC, is seeking a Logistics Account Manager to streamline freight operations, oversee house accounts, and ensure timely deliveries across the US. You will manage full truckload shipments, negotiate rates with carriers, and maintain strong carrier relationships.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in 3PL brokerage, strong communication, and experience with TMS, DAT, Truckstop, and Macropoint. Hybrid schedule with 4 in-office days and 1 remote day is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a 3PL brokerage.
• Direct experience as Logistics Coordinator or carrier sales-type role.
• Proven ability to book multiple loads per day/week.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
• Familiarity with TMS, DAT, Truckstop, Macropoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage full truckload shipments for company house accounts (spot and expedite freight).
• Price lanes with clients and maintain strong relationships.
• Source and build relationships with carrier partners.
• Book and cover multiple loads per day through DAT, Truckstop and carrier sourcing.
• Negotiate rates with carriers while maintaining service standards.
• Track shipments from pickup to delivery for on-time performance.
• Communicate proactively with customers, carriers, and internal team members.
• Problem-solve in real time to prevent or resolve service disruptions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data entry within our TMS system.
