Job summary

Vista Trans Logistics, Charleston, SC, is seeking a Logistics Account Manager to streamline freight operations, oversee house accounts, and ensure timely deliveries across the US. You will manage full truckload shipments, negotiate rates with carriers, and maintain strong carrier relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a 3PL brokerage.
• Direct experience as Logistics Coordinator or carrier sales-type role.
• Proven ability to book multiple loads per day/week.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
• Familiarity with TMS, DAT, Truckstop, Macropoint.

Summary

Join Vista Trans Logistics as our newest Logistics Account Manager on our Charleston, SC team! This position is tailored towards on an individual who can help streamline our freight operations and oversee current company freight accounts to assist us with improving our load coverage efficiency. As our Logistics Account Manager, managing VTL customer accounts, overseeing load coverage and maintaining timely and effective communication between carriers and customers is critical to the success of this role. This position is responsible for managing house accounts, posting, negotiating and covering full truckload shipments across the US, to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. Experience in working in a 3PL capacity with flatbed, dry van and reefer carriers is preferred. Additionally, having the ability to communicate timely and clearly especially in high stress environments is vital to the success of the position. What You’ll Do

• Coordinate and manage full truckload (FTL) shipments for company house accounts (mainly spot and expedite freight)
• Work alongside our clients to price lanes, provide industry insight and maintain strong working relationships.
• Source and build strong lasting relationships with reliable carrier partners
• Book and cover multiple loads per day through DAT, Truckstop and carrier sourcing
• Negotiate rates with carriers while maintaining service standards
• Track shipments from pickup to delivery to ensure on-time performance
• Communicate proactively with customers, carriers, and internal team members
• Problem-solve in real time to prevent or resolve service disruptions
• Maintain accurate documentation and data entry within our TMS system

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum2 years of experienceworking at a third-party logistics (3PL) brokerage
• Direct experience in a Logistics Coordinator or carrier sales–type role
• Proven ability to book multiple loads per day/week
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Well-spoken and confident communicator (phone & email)
• Ability to work full-time in office (local candidates only)
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to grow within the logistics industry
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
• Familiarity with transportation management systems such as TMS, DAT, Truckstop, Macropoint
• Knowledge of freight regulations and safety standards.
• Base Pay w/ yearly increases + commission opportunities after the first 90 days.
