Role Description

The Logistics Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Jacksonville, FL. This position focuses on building and managing a portfolio of shipping customers and carriers, negotiating freight rates, and coordinating truckload shipments from pickup through delivery. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and cold calling to generate new business, maintaining ongoing communication with existing accounts, and providing responsive customer service to resolve issues and ensure timely shipment updates. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and carriers to track loads, address service needs, and meet performance goals. Logistics Account Executives are expected to meet sales targets, maintain accurate records in TQL systems, and support the company’s commitment to reliable, high-quality freight solutions.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Freight Brokerage and a strong understanding of the logistics and transportation industry.
• Candidates should possess Account Management and New Business Development skills to grow and sustain a book of business.

• Strong sales aptitude, including cold calling, lead generation, and closing skills.
