Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support end-to-end operations for inbound and outbound material movement, including international shipments and customs coordination. The role requires working a 24/7 shift schedule with cross-training for seamless coverage.

The successful candidate will manage shipment booking, tracking, and documentation, update tracking sheets, and communicate status to internal teams across time zones.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or transportation operations.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 operations center including nights/weekends/holidays.
• Experience with international shipping processes including customs documentation, Incoterms, and brokerage coordination.
• Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong attention to detail with experience maintaining tracking sheets and shipment records.
• Effective written and verbal communication across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

• Monitor transportation activities and ensure adherence to SOPs.
• Book shipments, track/trace, prepare invoices/packing lists for import/export.
• Track freight forwarding data in provider platforms and dashboards.
• Maintain shipment documentation and related metrics for JIT and urgent shipments.
• Escalate transportation exceptions per defined processes.

Title: Logistic Specialist III
Location: Bellevue, WA
Duration: 6 months
Compensation: $25 - $30

Description: We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to provide end-to-end logistics operations support for inbound and outbound material movement, finished-product delivery and all associated operational workload across a global supplier base. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will work from a 24/7 operations center managing international and domestic shipments, customs and brokerage coordination, exception management, and shipment documentation. This is a shift-based role requiring flexibility to work across rotating shifts, and all hires will cross-train to ensure seamless coverage across the operation. The coordinator’s primary responsibilities include shipment booking, tracking, and documentation maintenance. They update tracking sheets and monitor shipment progress throughout the logistics network.

Summary

• Monitor defined transportation activities or shipping/receiving/warehousing/inventory and related activities and ensure they are following defined SOPs
• Perform logistics processes involving booking, track/trace, import/export commercial invoices/packing lists and related logistics functions
• Accurately track freight forwarding and other automated system data and milestone activity within service provider platforms
• Document defined metrics and data related to just-in-time and next flight out urgent shipments in a global logistics environment
• Identify transportation exceptions and follow defined escalation/notification processes to support business teams
• Expeditiously gather situation information and data to effectively communicate status of cargo during critical and/or emergency transportation events or activities
• Perform work on site daily in a rotational shift configuration which may include day, evening, night, weekend and holidays, as business needs require
• Perform audit processes to ensure data accuracy in all program dashboards and metrics
• Represent the Logistics team with internal and external partners and establish proactive communication to inform stakeholders of shipment status
• Work in partnership with internal and external logistics teams while providing excellent customer service in a professional business environment
• Respond with business urgency to telephone, e-mail and automated requests and follow up on open items requiring action
• Review SOPs and transportation maps and identify any anomaly or deviation from defined processes or routes
• Utilize telephonic and/or automated systems to communicate with transportation providers and others
• Read and comprehend basic Standard Operations Procedures and geographical maps

Must-Have Skills

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or transportation operations
• Flexibility and willingness to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 operations center, including overnight, weekend, and holiday coverage
• Working knowledge of international shipping processes, including customs documentation, Incoterms, and brokerage coordination
• Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), or equivalent logistics platforms
• Strong attention to detail with experience maintaining tracking sheets, documentation, and shipment records
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, carriers, brokers, and internal stakeholders across multiple time zones
• Ability to read and comprehend standard operating procedures and geographical/transportation maps
• Inbound Logistics experience
• Strong Excel Skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with customs brokerage, import/export compliance, or licensed customs broker (LCB) credentials
• Background in manufacturing or hardware logistics environments
• Experience managing third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and carrier performance
• Experience with data analysis, dashboard creation, or Jira-based project tracking
• Demonstrated ability to manage special projects or process improvement initiatives beyond core responsibilities
• Proficiency in Mandarin or other languages relevant to international supplier communication is a plus
• International Shipments/Small Parcel Management
• Experience with Auto Industry logistics
