People Technology And Processes seeks a Logis Senior Weapons Logistics and Maintenance SME (JAF/SWCS) to join at Fort Bragg/Fayetteville, NC. You will lead advanced weapons maintenance, sustainment, training, and logistics support as a technical SME and liaison for SOF-Peculiar, foreign, and nonstandard weapons, including nondestructive inspection.

The role requires active Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and substantial experience in sustaining and repairing specialized weapons, along with

• Active Secret clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• 1–3 years sustaining and repairing SOF-Peculiar foreign weapons and accessories.
• Completion or willingness to obtain SOF-P Weapons Repair Course and Special Operations Foreign and Nonstandard Armorers Course.
• ASNT NDT Level II certification or willingness to obtain within 18 months.
• Know ledge of AR 750-1, AR 700-4, and DA PAM 750-8; familiarity with TAMMS and GCSS-Army.

Responsabilidades

• Manage inventory, maintenance schedules, and records; perform trend analysis and corrective actions.
• Operate GCSS-Army: process PM01, PM02, PM06 work orders, maintain service schedules, manage Class IX repair parts, Shop Stock, and Bench Stock per AR 710-2.
• Serve as technical liaison for weapons life cycle management and logistics support.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair weapons at field level; inspect and replace weapon components.
• Perform nondestructive inspection using Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Eddy Current, and Ultrasonic methods.
• Provide training on assembly, disassembly, maintenance, functioning, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of weapons.
• Provide work-site reports, including production backlog, demands by MCN or NSN, and Equipment Status Reports.

Job Details: Job Location: Fayetteville , NC 28310, Position Type: Full Time, Position Title: Logis Senior Weapons Logistics and Maintenance SME (JAF/SWCS)

Location: Fort Bragg, NC

Clearance required: SECRET

Scope of Work

Provides advanced weapons maintenance, sustainment, training, and logistics support at the Joint Armament Facility, serving as technical subject matter expert and liaison for SOF-Peculiar, foreign, and non-standard weapons, including nondestructive inspection.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

• Manage inventory, maintenance schedules, and records; perform trend analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Operate GCSS-Army: process PM01, PM02, and PM06 work orders, maintain service schedules, and manage Class IX repair parts, Shop Stock, and Bench Stock per AR 710-2.
• Serve as technical liaison for weapons life cycle management and logistics support.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair a variety of weapons at field level and inspect and replace weapon components.
• Perform nondestructive inspection using Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Eddy Current, and Ultrasonic methods.
• Provide training on assembly, disassembly, maintenance, functioning, adjustments, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of weapons.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance
• U.S. citizenship
• At least one (1) year (proficient) or three (3) years (expert, preferred) sustaining and repairing SOF-Peculiar foreign weapons and accessories
• Skills equal to Army MOS 91F or branch equivalent
• Completion of the USASOC SOF-P Weapons Repair Course and the Special Operations Foreign and Nonstandard Armorers Course, or willingness to obtain
• ASNT NDT Level II certification, or obtain Level II certification within 18 months of employment
• Knowledge of AR 750-1, AR 700-4, and DA PAM 750-8; working knowledge of TAMMS and GCSS-Army
