Job summary

People, Technology & Processes is seeking a Logis Senior Weapons Logistics and Maintenance SME (JAF/SWCS) at Fort Bragg, NC. Requires a SECRET clearance and U.S. citizenship.

The role involves advanced weapons maintenance, training, and logistics support for SOF-Peculiar and non-standard weapons. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair diverse weapon systems, and lead NDT inspections. Responsibilities include managing inventories, maintenance schedules, and records, operating GCSS-Army work

Qualifications

• Experience sustaining and repairing SOF-Peculiar foreign weapons and accessories.
• Completion of the USASOC SOF-P Weapons Repair Course or willingness to obtain.
• Proficient in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs to weapon systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory, maintenance schedules, and records; perform trend analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Operate GCSS-Army: PM01/PM02/PM06 work orders; manage Class IX parts and shop stock.
• Serve as technical liaison for weapons life cycle management and logistics support.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair weapons at field level; inspect/replace components.
• Perform nondestructive inspection with LPI, MPI, Eddy Current, and Ultrasonic methods.
• Provide training on assembly, disassembly, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Produce work-site reports: backlog, demands by MCN/NSN, and Equipment Status Reports.

Position Title: Logis Senior Weapons Logistics and Maintenance SME (JAF/SWCS)Location: Fort Bragg, NCClearance required: SECRETScope of Work: Provides advanced weapons maintenance, sustainment, training, and logistics support at the Joint Armament Facility, serving as technical subject matter expert and liaison for SOF-Peculiar, foreign, and non-standard weapons, including nondestructive inspection.Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Manage inventory, maintenance schedules, and records; perform trend analysis and recommend corrective actions.Operate GCSS-Army: process PM01, PM02, and PM06 work orders, maintain service schedules, and manage Class IX repair parts, Shop Stock, and Bench Stock per AR 710-2.Serve as technical liaison for weapons life cycle management and logistics support.Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair a variety of weapons at field level and inspect and replace weapon components.Perform nondestructive inspection using Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Eddy Current, and Ultrasonic methods.Provide training on assembly, disassembly, maintenance, functioning, adjustments, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of weapons.Provide work-site reports, including production backlog, demands by MCN or NSN, and Equipment Status Reports.Active Secret clearanceU.S. citizenshipAt least one (1) year (proficient) or three (3) years (expert, preferred) sustaining and repairing SOF-Peculiar foreign weapons and accessoriesSkills equal to Army MOS 91F or branch equivalentCompletion of the USASOC SOF-P Weapons Repair Course and the Special Operations Foreign and Nonstandard Armorers Course, or willingness to obtainASNT NDT Level II certification, or obtain Level II certification within 18 months of employmentKnowledge of AR 750-1, AR 700-4, and DA PAM 750-8; working knowledge of TAMMS and GCSS-Army
