Job summary

People Technology And Processes seeks a Weapons Specialist to provide small arms maintenance and repair support at Range 37, Camp Mackall, NC, for live training exercises. The role requires US citizenship, an active SECRET clearance, and fluency in English.

Qualifications include prior experience as 18B, 91F, or equivalent gunsmith certification; you will be the subject matter expert on weapons serviceability, accountability, and readiness for training events.

Qualifications

• Former 18B Special Forces Weapons Sergeant, 91F Small Arms Repairer, or equivalent gunsmith certification
• Subject matter expert on all aspects of small arms maintenance and repair
• US citizenship (per AR 25-2)
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Active Secret clearance required

Clearance required: SECRET

Scope of Work: Provides small arms maintenance and repair support at Range 37, keeping weapons and target systems serviceable for live training.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Perform small arms maintenance and repair.
• Support weapons serviceability for training events at Range 37.
• Maintain accountability of assigned weapons equipment.

Qualifications:

• Former 18B Special Forces Weapons Sergeant, 91F (formerly 45B) Small Arms Repairer, equitable MOS, or equitable civilian certification such as advanced gunsmith certification
• Subject matter expert on all aspects of small arms maintenance and repair
• United States citizenship required (legally documented aliens only per AR 25-2 approval)
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Active Secret clearance required
