Job summary

Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe in Reno, NV is seeking a Lodge/Janitorial Attendant to clean and maintain the main lodges, including restrooms, lobbies, offices, and locker rooms, with snow removal as needed.

You should be personable and able to communicate effectively with managers and supervisors, and you must be able to perform all janitorial duties including lifting supplies, pushing mops, brooms, and vacuum cleaners, and shoveling snow. No prior experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all areas of the resort lodge.
• Give cleaning/maintenance priority to Customer Contact Zones - restrooms and lobby areas.
• Clean and restock restroom supplies as needed during the day.
• Clean and vacuum administration offices, department offices, employee locker rooms, and clean storage areas.
• Assist with snow removal as needed.
• End of day restroom and lobby clean up. Perform weekly cleaning duties as outlined on maintenance schedule.
• Communicate with management staff regarding needed building repairs, supplies, or safety concerns.

The Lodge/ Janitorial Attendant is responsible for general maintenance and cleaning of the main lodges at Mt. Rose including restrooms, lobbies, offices, and locker rooms. The Attendant will also remove snow from critical areas as necessary.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
