Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking physicians for locum tenens assignments in Washington. Opportunities include 7–14 days per month in 7-day blocks beginning Thursday morning, with call coverage and paid travel/housing arrangements.

Board-certified or eligible candidates with hospital privileges are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include evaluating and stabilizing complex presentations, facilitating transfers, and providing bread-and-butter general surgery support as needed.

Qualifications

• 7–14 days per month: 7-day blocks beginning Thursday am
• Call coverage included
• General surgery focus; colon surgery not required
• Comfort handling bariatric post-op cases in the ED
• Evaluate, stabilize, and transfer for complex presentations
• Hospital privileges required
• Board certification or eligibility required
