Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare offers locum tenens opportunities in Washington for general surgery. 7–14 days per month blocks begin Thursday morning; bread-and-butter general surgery with no colon surgery required.

You should be comfortable managing bariatric post-op cases in the ED and be prepared to evaluate, stabilize, and facilitate transfers for complex presentations. Weatherby provides paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, and 24-hour access to a Weatherby consultant;

• 7-14 days per month scheduling

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, stabilize, and facilitate transfer for complex presentations
• Manage bariatric post-op cases in the ED when applicable
• Provide general surgery coverage as assigned
