Premier Anesthesia, part of the Jackson Healthcare family, is seeking a Locum Staffing Scheduler to coordinate provider schedules and coverage for its locum and transition staffing needs. You will work with recruiters, operations leaders, and clinical staff to translate staffing needs into accurate schedules and manage changes efficiently.

You will partner with credentialing, travel, payroll, invoicing, and agency partners to ensure timely and compliant staffing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Two or more years of experience supporting healthcare staffing, locum tenens, physician services, anesthesia, hospital operations, or another complex clinical scheduling environment.
• Experience using scheduling software, CRM or applicant tracking systems, and reporting tools to monitor open shifts, confirmations, cancellations, and coverage risks.

Responsabilités

• Schedule and coverage coordination with recruiters, operations leaders, and onsite clinical leadership.
• Build and maintain provider schedules aligned with qualifications and facility requirements.
• Monitor schedules for gaps, conflicts, and changes; escalate as needed.
• Coordinate schedule changes, cancellations, and urgent coverage requests with assigned teams.
• Maintain communications with temporary clinicians and ensure readiness and onboarding coordination.
