Qualifications

• Experience as a Locomotive Operator is preferred.
• Previous customer-oriented experience is preferred.
• Ability to obtain necessary certification and pass drug/alcohol and medical clearances.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe locomotive operation and train movements, with clear job briefings.
• Follow switching procedures, operate switches and derails as a team.
• Provide protection of train, track, and equipment.
• Perform plant and equipment inspections, including air brake tests.
• Comply with operating rules, regulations, and promote safe work habits.
• Keep locomotive interior clean and tidy.
• Complete daily locomotive brake and safety device checks.
• Submit daily reports and logs as required.
• Offer excellent customer service and uphold company image.
• Participate in training and company initiatives.
