Job summary

Cando Rail & Terminals is seeking a Transload Operator to provide safe and efficient rail car loading and unloading in a team-driven, safety-conscious environment.

You will perform daily equipment checks, ensure compliance with operating rules, and support switching teams while delivering on the customer's schedule. This role requires physical fitness, teamwork, and ability to work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Strong teamwork skills and cooperative work style.
• Ability to read and write general documentation and safety briefings.
• Physically fit to operate rail equipment and climb structures safely.
• Knowledge of regulatory and safety requirements for industrial switching.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate transloading equipment following rules and procedures.
• Make all connections for product transfers and perform equipment checks.
• Conduct daily inspections and report safety or equipment issues.
• Maintain compliance with government, customer, and Cando rules.
• Complete daily reports and support switching teams as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and participate in training.
