Job summary

EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Locksmith for the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA II) project in College Park, MD. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm, reporting to the Chief Operating Engineer.

Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Locksmith, Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm, at our National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) project in College Park, Md (NARA II).Local 99

Reports to: Chief operating Engineer#egs

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The responsibilities of personnel in this position include, but are not limited to:

• Repairing key locksets
• Fabricating and replicating keys
• Opening key locksets; Installing, performing maintenance, repairing, replacing, removing, opening, and resetting of mechanical, electronic combination cipher locks, electronic card locks, and electronic security systems to include replacing lockset batteries when necessary
• Unlocking buildings, safes, vaults, file cabinets, desks, lockers (with or without combination or key), etc., to gain access when authorized; and Performing improvement, alteration, and adaptation of locking devices and systems.
