EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Locksmith for the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA II) project in College Park, MD. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm, reporting to the Chief Operating Engineer.

Responsibilities include repairing locksets, fabricating keys, and maintaining a range of mechanical and electronic locks in government facilities. Qualified candidates must be certified and bonded by DC and Maryland, possess strong English communication, and be able to

Qualifications

• Certified and bonded by both D.C. and the State of Maryland.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English is highly desirable.
• Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance

Responsibilities

• Repairing key locksets
• Fabricating and replicating keys
• Opening key locksets; Installing, performing maintenance, repairing, replacing, removing, opening, and resetting of mechanical, electronic combination cipher locks, electronic card locks, and electronic security systems to include replacing lockset batteries when necessary
