Job summary

EMCOR Government Services, Inc. is seeking a Locksmith for the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) project in College Park, MD.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm, with duties including repair, fabrication, and maintenance of various locking systems on site. The role requires certified and bonded status in DC and Maryland, English language proficiency, and the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read and write in English is highly desirable.
• Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Certified and bonded by both D.C. and the State of Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Repairing key locksets
• Fabricating and replicating keys
• Opening key locksets; installing, performing maintenance, repairing, replacing, removing, opening, and resetting of mechanical, electronic lock systems
• Unlocking buildings, safes, vaults, file cabinets, desks, lockers to gain access when authorized; and improving, altering, and adapting locking devices and systems.
