Job summary

Desert Mountain Club in North Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Locker Room Attendant to support all aspects of locker room operations and guest service within a premier private club. Reporting to the Clubhouse Manager and Restaurant Supervisor, you will help maintain facilities and assist with food and beverage service during events.

The role emphasizes teamwork, a positive attitude, and a passion for golf and hospitality; 18+ years old is required and prior club experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior country club experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service with a warm welcome and farewell to members and guests.
• Maintain locker room facilities and surrounding areas; perform general cleaning duties.
• Print updated tee sheets from the golf shop for display in locker room area.
• Assist members and guests with posting golf scores.
• Assist with inventory control of amenities and suggest new products.
• Re-spike, clean and polish shoes.
• Set up and tear down continental breakfast.
• Promote monthly locker rentals and assist guests with day lockers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the Locker Room Operations, to include upkeep and maintenance of the locker room and surrounding area, food and beverage service, and special events. You will report directly to the Clubhouse Manager, Assistant Clubhouse Manager, and Restaurant Supervisor.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with a great attitude, passion for golf and hospitality, and driven to deliver excellence. Prior country club experience is preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

JOB DETAILS

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional service with a warm welcome and fond farewell to each member and guest with a smile and name recognition.
• Maintain Club facilities, including restrooms, wash area, showers, clear day lockers and performing general cleaning duties as needed.
• Print updated tee sheets from the golf shop to display in locker room area.
• Assist members and guests with posting golf scores.
• Assist with inventory control and ordering of all amenities.Make viable suggestions concerning new products, especially those suggested by members.
• Re-spike, clean and polish shoes.
• Perform set up and tear down of continental breakfast.
• Promote monthly rental of member lockers and assist guests with day lockers.
• Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Required to work, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Required to stand for long periods of time.
