Job summary

Desert Mountain Club in Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping department across Clubhouses, offices, and facilities, ensuring world-class cleanliness and aesthetics under the Director of Housekeeping. The role requires a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory capacity and prior club/hospitality experience is a plus.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a leader or in a supervisory role is required.
  • Prior housekeeping experience in a club, hotel, or resort is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the organization and direction of the Housekeeping Department under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping and in accordance with Desert Mountain Club operations.
  • Supervise, instruct, plan, and assign work to the Housekeeping staff.
  • Inspect vacated rooms, corridors, restaurants, lobbies, and lavatories.
  • Manage and resolve complaints from members and employees and report to appropriate individuals for necessary action in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Manage event setup and execution.
  • Oversee maintenance records for machines and equipment.
  • Effectively and professionally communicate with members, management, and hospitality employees.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring employees wear PPE when working with chemicals.
  • Initiate the reporting of incidents or accidents to the Workers’ Compensation carrier within 24 hours.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining all of Desert Mountain’s facilities and areas in a world-class fashion in cleanliness and aesthetics under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping and in accordance with Desert Mountain Club operations. Oversee the cleaning of all Clubhouses, offices, maintenance buildings, golf course restrooms, Sales Centers, and development properties held by Desert Mountain Properties.

The ideal candidate will be outgoing, professional, and a team player with a great attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for delivering exceptional experiences. A minimum of 2 years of experienceas a leader or in a supervisory role is required. Prior housekeeping experience in a club, hotel, or resort is a plus.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and have no traffic violations within the last three years.

JOB DETAILS
