Desert Mountain Club is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for the Boutique & Tennis Shop in Scottsdale, AZ. This part-time role focuses on delivering exceptional service to a mid-to-high-end clientele with strong merchandising and product knowledge.

Join the Retail team at Desert Mountain Club, one of the largest and most beautiful private country clubs in North America, as a Retail Sales Associate!

In this role, you will have the opportunity to exceed membership expectations through shop merchandising and outstanding customer service in the Boutique & Tennis Shop at a world-class Fitness Facility, Sonoran.

The ideal candidate will be outgoing and friendly with a great attitude and passion for delivering exceptional service. Prior customer service experience, servicing a mid to high-end clientele is required. Retail and basic knowledge of the golf industry is preferred.

Schedule:
This is a part-time position that requires weekend availability.

Winter Hours:
Shifts are scheduled within the following hours:

• Monday–Saturday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Summer Hours:
Shifts are scheduled within the following hours:

• Monday–Saturday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Sunday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

JOB DETAILS

Responsibilities:

• Provide enthusiastic and friendly customer service, as well as assist members, guests, and fellow teammates with their merchandise needs.
• Maintain appearance of shop floor by creating visually appealing displays, straightening, restocking, and dusting.
• Answer phones and use the computerized point-of-sale system to transact sales.
• Implement suggestive-selling techniques to maximize selling opportunities and to educate customers about the extensive product offering.
• Assist with inventory management and physical inventory counts.
• Assist with special events such as trunk shows and demo days.
• Assist with processing special orders and contacting members for merchandise pickup.
• Assist with tagging and stocking merchandise.
• Other tasks and projects as requested by supervisors.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

• Ability to work on weekends is required.
• Required to stand for long periods of time.
• Required to push, pull, lift and/or move up to 35 pounds – Frequently
