Job summary

Desert Mountain Club is seeking a Busser / Food Runner to support the Food & Beverage team at a premier private club in North Scottsdale. You will help servers, clear and reset tables, and ensure a smooth dining experience for members and guests.

The role requires a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and prior restaurant or country club experience is a plus. Shifts are 10am–10pm with weekend and PM availability; benefits are provided to eligible teammates.

Responsibilities

• Reset tables and ensure they are clean and set with linens, china, silverware and glassware.
• Clear dirty dishes and deliver food as needed.
• Stock side stations with silverware, china, glass, ice and supplies.
• Provide water refills and respond to guest requests; communicate with server as needed.
• Assist with food delivery and event setup/teardown.
• Remain on dining floor to assist as needed.

Join the Food & Beverage team at one of the largest private country clubs in North America, Desert Mountain Club, as a Busser / Food Runner!

In this role, you will play a key role in executing an exceptional experience to the restaurant's guests and members! You will be responsible for assisting the restaurant servers by providing a positive guest interaction in a friendly and efficient manner, clear and clean tables, appropriately stock all areas of the restaurant, and run food.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with a great attitude and strong work ethic. A passion for delivering an excellent guest experience is required. Prior restaurant and/or country club experience is a plus.

Shifts may be within the hours of (10am - 10pm), weekend and PM availability required.

JOB DETAILS

Responsibilities:

• Reset tables and ensure tables and chairs are free of food particles and water spots. Set tables with clean linens, china, silverware and glassware with attention to proper positioning of each.
• Remove dirty dishes from dining room and carry them to the dishwashing area.
• Stock side stations with silverware, china, glass, ice and any other items that may be needed.
• Check on tables during service hours and provide water refills and clearing of dishes. Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate them to server as needed.
• Pour coffee, replenish rolls and butter.
• Remain on dining room floor to be available and visible as much as possible.
• Assist in function set-up and tear-down.
• Assist with food delivery, as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

• Required to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Required to stand for long periods of time.
