Job summary

Kowboy Fence Company is seeking a Location Manager for our Huntsville, AL office. You will be the face of Kowboy Fence in the market, owning the customer experience, results, and success of the location.

This role is hands-on and fast-paced—lead the team, manage operations, build relationships, and drive on-time, high-quality projects. If you thrive on people, action, and measurable outcomes, this is for you.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in operations, project management, or leadership.
• Proven ability to build relationships and retain customers.
• Strong communication and calm under pressure.
• Experience in construction, fencing, or trades is a major plus.
• Bias toward action and proactive results.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer experience from first call to final walkthrough.
• Oversee customer communications to keep clients informed and confident.
• Run day-to-day location operations and coordinate teams and jobs.
• Address issues promptly with professional, speed-based problem-solving.
• Lead the local team and set daily standards.
• Track location performance and report metrics to leadership.
• Ensure quality assurance and Kowboy Fence standards on every job.

What You'll Own

• The customer relationship — from first call to final walkthrough, you're the person they trust
• Customer communication — keeping clients informed, updated, and confident throughout their project
• Day-to-day operations — you're accountable for how your location runs, making sure the team, the jobs, and the moving pieces are all working together
• Problem-solving — when issues come up (and they will), you handle them with professionalism and speed
• Team leadership — you set the tone for how your location shows up every day
• Location performance — you track the numbers, report to leadership, and push for continuous improvement
• Quality assurance — making sure every job that goes out the door meets the Kowboy Fence standard

What You Bring

• 3+ years in operations, project management, or a leadership role
• A natural ability to build relationships and keep customers coming back
• Strong communication skills and a cool head under pressure
• Experience in construction, fencing, or the trades is a major plus
