Job summary

Duolingo is seeking a localization leader to own end-to-end programs that scale content production across 30+ UI languages. You will partner with product, engi neering, design, and marketing to build durable, low-touch systems that improve launch speed, quality and efficiency.

Lead cross-functional localization initiatives, drive automation, and socialize best practices to deliver scalable workflows while measuring impact and aligning stakeholders to drive decisions.

Qualifications

• Localization strategy and systems for new features, in collaboration with product, design, and engineering.
• Proven leadership of localization programs in cross-functional consumer apps.
• Proficient in AI, CMSs, and CAT tools for scalable content production.
• Excellent communication; influence without authority across diverse teams.
• Ability to translate insights into actionable engineering requirements and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Drive automation and system improvements to scale localization from 0-to-1 and beyond.
• Own metrics for your vertical to improve strategy, decision-making, and prioritization.
• Cultivate relationships with marketing, product, design, and engineering to develop a localization roadmap.
• Establish workflows and tooling to increase localization throughput and quality across the system.
