Job summary

EIKON Group in Los Angeles is seeking a Translation Manager to lead our Localization team. You will oversee the end-to-end localization of theatrical releases, subtitles, and VOD assets, coordinating with Account Management and production teams to schedule work and ensure on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in localization, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will empower a network of translators and vendors, manage contracts and rates, and help

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ experience in a localization role.
• Digital cinema and localization or subtitling experience would be advantageous.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Keen to learn about technology and production workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to prioritize, multi-task and manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, positive, proactive attitude.
• Able to work well in a team and on your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and schedule translation orders worldwide.
• Monitor resources’ progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Source and maintain relationships with translators and companies.
• Build a network of translators/linguists.
• Establish and maintain contracts, confidentiality and financial terms.
• Monitor translator rates and invoices; liaise with translators to meet requirements.
• Administer EIKON's online translation software.
• Provide administrative support to Account Managers working on content creation.
• Billing of completed projects, including reporting and tracking.
• Assist with troubleshooting and oversee resolution.
