Job summary

Okta is seeking a Globalization Engineer to own and optimize our localization automation stack. You will build scalable workflows using Python and APIs, connect our TMS with content sources, and implement AI-driven improvements to quality, speed, and cost.

You will advise on i18n and provide expert guidance to product and engineering teams. You'll lead the technical ownership of TMS environments (e.g., XTM, Smartling), conduct deep-dive analyses, and develop self-service tools that catch UI

Qualifications

• Experience architecting localization solutions at scale.
• Strong Python and API skills for automation across systems.
• Familiarity with TMS and CMS integrations and content workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the localization automation framework with Python and APIs.
• Spearhead AI and localization technology integration to improve speed and quality.
• Provide technical oversight and diagnose high-impact architectural issues.
• Advise on internationalization (i18n) and audit code for best practices.
• Manage and optimize Translation Management Systems configurations and performance.
• Develop self-service localization tooling to catch issues early in UI and translations.
