Alliance Water Resources, Inc. seeks a full-time Local Manager in Caruthersville, MO. The role supervises water/wastewater operations, plans budgets, ensures regulatory compliance, and coordinates client requirements.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience relating to water or wastewater systems, including supervisory experience.
• Three (3) years of specialized training in water and/or wastewater desired
• Possess valid driver's license and maintain in good standing

Responsibilities

• Supervises and/or participates in the operation of the water and/or wastewater utility, including ancillary operations, laboratory work, control systems, pumping stations, water mains, meter reading and devices, and all maintenance and repair activities.
• Assists in short and long-term planning for the assigned division.
• Authorized purchasing of materials according to company guidelines.
• Attends client board meetings and ensures contract obligations are met; implements client policies.
• Assists in the preparation of the annual budget and monitors expenditures.
• Reviews and evaluates the work of all employees.
• Reviews staffing needs and recommends personnel actions per policy.
• Performs inspections of plant and related equipment to ensure efficient operation.
• Directs maintenance to plant/equipment including meters.
• Oversees building and grounds maintenance activities.
• Implements corporate policies and procedures.
• Responds to citizen or agency inquiries and initiates improvements.
• Completes monthly reports and payroll timesheets.
• Manages divisional projects to meet specifications and deadlines.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and coordinates with regulatory bodies.
• Participates in professional associations and meetings to stay updated.
• Maintains safety standards and safety programs.
• Maintains good working relationships with stakeholders.
• Develops and achieves management objectives annually.
• Supports business development with client calls and site evaluations.
