Job summary

Intuit is seeking dedicated TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, expert advice, and software support while connecting clients with a broader team of specialists for end-to-end service.

You will also act as a community ambassador, growing the local client base through outreach and partnerships, and you will participate in marketing efforts and events to raise TurboTax visibility in the community.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax prep experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office location (8:00–17:00 local) for at least 20 hours/week.
• Must complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and may be featured in marketing advertising.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to grow a local customer base.
• Champion the full Intuit ecosystem by linking clients to related services like bookkeeping or payroll.
• Build relationships to convert one-time transactions into long-term engagements.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional guidance and support.
