Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to perform on-site tax preparation and client advisory work at a TurboTax location in the United States. You’ll collaborate with a team of specialists to deliver end-to-end tax services and build a thriving local client base.

You will connect clients withIntuit’s broader ecosystem, including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services, while fostering trust and long-term relationships through exceptional service and local engagement.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax prep experience and deep tax-law knowledge.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years: 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional software; Circular 230 familiarity.
• Willing to upskill into additional service areas with training by Intuit.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00–17:00 local time, ~20 hours/week minimum.
• Willing to complete required training and development; compliance and cross-training may be added.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use name/photo for advertising.
• Interest in building local and online social presence for TurboTax.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond simple filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, from straightforward to complex cases.
• Act as a local community ambassador, driving growth and building a client base through outreach.
• Connect clients to Intuit ecosystem services such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Develop relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience during meetings and sessions.
• Engage with customers both on-site and via Intuit video tools to address inquiries and optimize outcomes.
