Job summary

Intuit, Inc. in the United States seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax prep and advisory services from a TurboTax location.

You will work onsite with clients, absorb their full financial picture, and coordinate with specialists to deliver end-to-end Intuit experience. You will grow the local client base, host community events, and connect clients with Intuit solutions across bookkeeping, payroll, and planning services.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season with professional software.
• Upskill into additional service areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must work onsite at a TurboTax office between 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, up to 20 hours/week.
• Willing to complete training and development as required by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms; may appear in advertising with name/photo.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus; experience in holistic tax advisory is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax scenarios.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base through outreach and partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, planning and advisory services.
• Build long-term relationships with clients and maintain ongoing trust.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience in person and via video tools, addressing tax inquiries and challenges.
