Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax - Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States.

You will deliver hands-on tax preparation, expert advice, and software support while collaborating with a team of specialists across bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning. You’ll simultaneously grow the local client base, build long-term relationships, and leverage marketing resources to promote TurboTax services within the community.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Organize and lead local events such as financial literacy workshops and community pop-ups to grow TurboTax’s local client base.
