Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts at our new TurboTax locations across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, offer expert tax advice, and connect clients to a broader team of specialists, delivering an end-to-end local Intuit experience.

You will grow the local client base through outreach, events, and community partnerships, acting as the local face of TurboTax and leveraging marketing tools to drive loyalty and referrals.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including compliance training, up-skilling, cross-training of other products or offerings, and professional development.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and to use your name and photo for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content for the community.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must reside within the United States.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Actively build and grow a new local customer base and serve as the local face of TurboTax.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build Relationships - Develop long-term trust and convert transactions into ongoing client relationships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - Ensure a professional, helpful experience for clients during in-person and virtual engagements.
