Job summary

Intuit seeks dedicated, year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts to join new TurboTax locations across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax advice, prepare returns, and connect clients with Intuit’s ecosystem of services while growing a local client base.

Roles involve on-site work in TurboTax offices, excellent customer service, and collaboration with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to deliver end-to-end support for individuals and small businesses.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN to file taxes as required by law.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or business tax advisory with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, 20 hours/week minimum.
• Willing to complete required training and wear Intuit uniforms; may be featured in marketing materials.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; bilingual skills a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, including simple to complex scenarios.
• Develop local growth by identifying prospects, outreach, and community partnerships to build client base.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning for ongoing support.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience, both in person and via video tools, addressing tax questions and concerns.
