Job summary

Intuit is seeking dedicated year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts to join our teams in TurboTax locations across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax advice, complete returns, and engage with the local community to grow the TurboTax client base.

The role emphasizes delivering an exceptional customer experience, offering broader Intuit solutions, and participating in local events and marketing initiatives to expand brand presence.

Qualifications

• Enrolled Agent (EA), CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll) with training.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, at least 20 hours/week.
• Must complete required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and may be featured in advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Act as a local community ambassador to build a new customer base and drive local growth.
• Organize and lead local events (financial literacy workshops, pop-ups, networking) with support from TurboTax marketing tools.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning) to address their needs.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and assist clients in achieving financial goals.
