Job summary

Intuit seeks highly motivated individuals for a TurboTax Local Service Expert position at a TurboTax location in the United States. You’ll provide hands-on tax preparation, tax advice, and software support, while engaging with local clients and building a sustainable business within the community.

You’ll collaborate with specialists across bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and advisory services to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Qualifications

• Enrolled Agent, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax prep experience preferred.
• Active PTIN to file taxes as required by law.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax prep software.
• Open to upskilling into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training.
• Willing to work onsite at a TurboTax office, 20+ hours per week, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Must be willing to complete training and wear uniforms; able to be featured in advertising.
• Interest in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert; bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, including simple to complex scenarios.
• Grow local TurboTax client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem services such as bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in-person and via Intuit video tools.
