Job summary

Intuit is looking for a TurboTax Local Service Expert to perform on-site tax preparation and advisory services in a local TurboTax location in the United States. You will work with a team to serve in-person and virtual clients, delivering accurate tax solutions and building lasting client relationships.

You’ll grow the local client base, collaborate with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning, and participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives to expand TurboTax

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ 1040s using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, advisory with training by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Fri, for at least 20 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax scenarios.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base through outreach and partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem offerings (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning) to address needs.
• Build relationships with clients to create long-term, multi-year engagement.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and clear guidance using TurboTax tools and resources.
