Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking skilled TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at TurboTax locations across the United States.

You will provide hands-on tax advice and complete returns, while growing the local client base and delivering a seamless, end-to-end Intuit experience. You will collaborate with a team of specialists covering business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services to meet client needs and expand Intuit's reach in your community.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent) or CPA or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency‑based up‑skilling, cross‑training of other products or offerings, and professional development.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms. Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on Google.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimisation, amendments).
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Act as a local growth driver, identifying prospects through outreach, grass‑roots marketing, referrals and partnerships, and leading local events.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma as appropriate.
• Build Relationships - Develop long‑term trust with clients to convert transactions into ongoing relationships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - Ensure a high‑quality, professional service experience and assist clients with achieving financial goals.
