Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking on-site TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for diverse clients.

You will function as a local ambassador, building a growing client base, advising on holistic tax solutions, and connecting clients with Intuit services to meet long-term financial goals. You will work with a collaborative team at a TurboTax location in the United States, delivering end-to-end experiences from discovery to engagement.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including compliance training and up-skilling.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base and engage with community partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning and advisory services to address needs.
• Build relationships to convert one-time transactions into long-term client partnerships.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through professionalism and personalized tax support.
