Job summary

Intuit Inc. seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to perform on-site tax preparation, advisory services, and in-person client support at a TurboTax location in the United States.

You will collaborate with a team of tax professionals, handling a range of personal and business tax scenarios, while building local relationships and driving client growth with marketing support.

The role is nonexempt, onsite, typically 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with at least 20 hours/week and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Enrolled Agent (EA), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax prep experience preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040s per season using tax prep software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory with training.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, including complex returns.
• Grow local TurboTax client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Connect clients to Bookkeeping/Payroll/Planning services for year-round support.
• Build long-term relationships and deliver end-to-end Intuit experiences.
• Assist clients in maximizing refunds and planning for future tax scenarios.
