Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a TurboTax - Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax advice and prepare returns for clients on-site. You will collaborate with a team of financial professionals to deliver end-to-end services and grow the local TurboTax client base, including community outreach.

The role emphasizes a trusted advisory approach, with a focus on personalized tax solutions and ongoing support inside the Intuit ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Willingness to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory).
• Onsite at a TurboTax location, 20+ hours per week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, including simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Collaborate with specialists for comprehensive financial services.
• Grow TurboTax client base within the local community and engage in local events.
