Job summary

Intuit seeks a TurboTax - Local Service Expert to work on-site at a TurboTax location, delivering tax advice, preparation, and software support for individuals and small business clients. You will collaborate with a team of tax specialists to provide end-to-end services and develop a local client base through outreach and community engagement.

You will apply deep tax knowledge, assist in more complex scenarios, and leverage Intuit tools to ensure accurate returns and proactive tax planning.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with tax prep experience preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per season.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Assist with complex scenarios including business income, deductions, and amendments.
• Lead discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and plan for future taxes.
• Grow local client base through outreach, grass-roots marketing, and community partnerships.
