Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax - Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax advice and preparation for clients at TurboTax locations across the United States. You will drive local growth, act as the local face of TurboTax, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience while leveraging Intuit resources for year-round support.

The role emphasizes community engagement, financial literacy events, and partnerships, with a standard 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local schedule and at least 20 hours per week onsite.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with tax prep experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state returns per season with professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Mon–Fri, for at least 20 hours/week; hours may scale during peak seasons.
• Training/compliance requirements will be provided; additional requirements may be introduced by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and may be used for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online TurboTax Expert presence; create tax-related content for community.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients across personal and business taxes.
• Identify deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and offer future planning.
• Lead local outreach, events, and community partnerships to grow the local client base.
• Act as a trusted guide to connect clients with Intuit solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, planning, etc.).
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences, both in person and through video tools.
