Job summary

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as dedicated year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts in one of our new TurboTax locations across the United States. This unique opportunity combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs.

As a TurboTax - Local Service Expert, you will serve as a trusted advisor, empowering customers to achieve positive financial outcomes while supporting Intuit’s mission

Qualifications

• EA, CPA or practicing attorney with strong tax prep experience and tax law knowledge.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional software; Circular 230 familiarity.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 20+ hours/week, 8:00–17:00 local time.
• Willing to complete required training and development; subject to change by business needs.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and be featured in advertising.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for clients, handling simple to complex scenarios.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions across bookkeeping, payroll, and planning for year-round support.
• Build trusted relationships to turn one-time clients into long-term customers.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through in-person and video interactions.
