Job summary

VEIT is seeking a driver for delivery and pickup of roll-off containers in the Minneapolis–St. Paul metro area. You will operate 8- to 12-hour shifts, maintain safety standards, and communicate with dispatch about routing and changes.

This is a union-based role with emphasis on reliability and on-time performance. You must have a Class A or B CDL, a DOT medical card, a high school diploma or GED, and be comfortable using an Android tablet for billing and work orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with related experience or training.
• Class A or B CDL license with DOT medical card.
• Experience using Android tablets for billing and field updates.
• Ability to read maps, follow directions and navigate with GPS.
• Commitment to safety and DOT hours-of-service regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up roll-off containers in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area.
• Maintain communication with Dispatch about routing and timing.
• Complete work orders on Android tablet for customer billing.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and coordinate with mechanics.
• Represent VEIT professionally on site and on road.
• Ensure proper tarping procedures and on-site safety.
