Job summary

Viking is seeking a Haul Off Driver to join our team. You will safely operate heavy-duty trucks equipped with dumpsters or roll-off containers, delivering to construction sites, industrial facilities, and residences.

Requirements include a Class A or B CDL, 2–3 years of experience, a valid Texas CDL and medical card, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Travel is approximately 75%, with a competitive pay and strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• CDL required (Class A or B).
• 2-3 years commercial truck driving experience preferred.
• Valid Texas CDL and medical card.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a heavy-duty truck equipped with a dumpster or roll off container, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Maneuver the truck to pick up and deliver dumpsters or containers to various locations such as construction sites, industrial facilities, or residential areas. Load and unload materials or debris into the container using appropriate equipment.
• Ensure that all materials are secured properly within the dumpster or container to prevent spillage or accidents during transit.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the truck, including inspections, fuel checks, and basic repairs. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly to the supervisor.
• Interact with customers professionally, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and customer interactions. Complete paperwork related to each pickup and delivery.
