Job summary

Veit is seeking a Driver to haul materials to and from job sites in the Duluth, MN area. This safety-sensitive role requires a valid CDL Class A license and familiarity with FMCSA/DOT rules and Hours of Service.

You will load/unload, navigate with maps, and maintain a clean, safe work site. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 6–12 months of construction experience; ability to pass pre-employment drug testing and maintain a satisfactory motor vehicle record may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, six to twelve months of construction experience; or equivalent education/experience.
• Current and valid CDL Class A license.
• Working knowledge of FMCSA and DOT rules, including Hours of Service.
• Ability to use Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
• Ability to read maps, follow directions, and navigate with GPS.
• Adherence to OSHA safety protocols and high safety standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication with management and teams.
• Reliable attendance as required by management.

Responsibilities

• Hauls construction materials to and from jobsite locations.
• Loads and unloads trucks; hauls and hoists materials.
• Performs manual labor at construction sites as needed.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisors.
• Keeps job site clean and secures area daily to prevent hazards.
• Performs other duties assigned by management.
