Job summary

VueStay Vacations by Casago is seeking a hands-on Operations Team Lead to manage a portfolio of vacation rental properties. You will guide and coach a team, coordinate daily operations, and ensure top guest experiences while maintaining owner satisfaction.

You will inspect properties, handle escalated guest concerns, and partner with onboarding to welcome new units. The role requires hospitality background and willingness to travel as needed, with a $60,000 base plus a monthly auto stipend and

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel, hospitality, vacation or similar industry is highly preferred.
• Prior supervisory or management level experience is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.
• Frequent travel between worksites is required; reliable transportation needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of employees through coaching, mentoring, and performance management with regular 1:1s and evaluations.
• Oversee daily operations and workflow for the property portfolio to optimize productivity and achieve departmental goals.
• Provide cross-coverage for team and management when necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections prior to guest and owner arrivals.
• Respond to guest and homeowner concerns via emails, calls and tickets.
• Develop and grow relationships with property owners to ensure cleanliness and upkeep.
• Meet standards and metrics such as NPS and unit appearance.
• Assist with budgeting for the portfolio and perform cost-benefit analyses.
• Support onboarding of new units and collaboration with the Onboarding team.
• Perform light maintenance tasks as needed (bulbs, hinges, unclog toilet).
• Foster a collaborative, open communication environment and address conflicts constructively.
