Job summary

Interstate Moving | Relocation | Logistics is seeking a Local Operations Manager to lead the service center's daily workload from an operational and warehousing perspective, ensuring efficiency and service excellence.

You will direct dispatch, plan routes, supervise up to 250 staff, and coordinate with Van Lines Operations to keep shipments within the service area. A background in HHG management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating daily operations in a service/warehousing environment.
• Ability to read and follow instruction, prepare crews and manage workload.
• Strong planning, dispatching and routing skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily workload of the Local Dispatch Department to maximize asset utilization.
• Coordinate with drivers and crews to ensure cost-effective routes and on-time deliveries.
• Review and finalize paperwork with crew and ensure accuracy before accounting.
• Plan and manage daily warehouse activities and maintain clean, compliant facilities.
• Assist in staffing and recruiting to maintain optimal workforce.
