Job summary

Sysco is seeking a route delivery driver to service daily routes, load and unload products, and ensure accurate deliveries with customer signature verification. You may assist with loading and palletizing as needed, while maintaining DOT and company safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of route delivery experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read and understand English.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• One year of route delivery experience or driving a straight truck.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Must be able to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding route times.
• Unload product from trailer and place in designated areas, with handling of 1–75 to 100 lb loads.
• Verify delivery with customers and obtain signatures; report discrepancies.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and follow safety procedures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in line with DOT regulations.
